The Powder Day Mindset Corporate Training

Addressing 5 Key Areas in Corporate Life

In today’s business landscape, leaders and teams face challenges that require innovative, people-centered solutions. The Powder Day Mindset helps individuals and teams thrive by focusing on five essential areas:

Anti-Burnout– Build resilience by celebrating progress and aligning personal values with daily work.

Innovation– Spark creativity by encouraging individuals to leverage their personal strengths.

Productivity– Drive meaningful, value-based actions that keep teams energized and productive.

Belonging– Foster a stronger sense of community and belonging by encouraging individuals to bring their authentic selves to work.

Personal Growth– Empower employees to take ownership of their personal and professional development by identifying their core values.

Confidence Benefits

In the past 50 days, I've applied this process with clients, witnessing remarkable boosts in confidence:

  • Increasing prices and generating sales

  • Clarifying the value offered to clients

  • Focusing more on priorities and less on distractions

  • Building healthier habits

  • Establishing robust internal support systems

  • Transitioning from pondering to action in business development

  • Asserting desires and boundaries in personal relationships

  • Strengthening connections with family and friends

  • Cultivating peace of mind amidst uncertainty

All achieved by clarifying how they operate and integrating it into their daily lives.

The question is - where would more confidence help you? Because I want to help you with that.

I created a workbook if you want to clarify your core process without the coaching.

Is This For You?

You are a business owner or founder who wants more confidence in yourself and your ability to achieve your goals. You face the challenge of feeling stuck, inefficient, and misaligned with your core values, which can lead to frustration and burnout. You want a solution for solving your problems, but you don't have the time or energy to learn new things.

I want to show you a simple process that leverages and maximizes how you already do things to achieve your goals faster and increase your confidence.

If you want that as well, schedule a call and we'll discuss what confidence means to you, how it would benefit you, and how we can make it happen using the Easy Growth System.

My Journey to this Realization:

I started my core-based work in 2015 after producing several hundred tribute videos. Through these videos, I listened to thousands of individuals express their affection for loved ones. These experiences confirmed my belief that we all possess innate qualities at our core, and the more we tap into them, the better off we are.

In 2022, after experiencing burnout from personal and professional challenges, I discovered the power and importance of focusing on three core values (mine are courage, connection, and curiosity).

In 2023, I realized the distinction between who we are and how we operate, leading to the development of the Core Process concept. This realization, combined with my experience, culminated in the creation of the Easy Growth System.

My entire journey has been a series of efforts to apply my core process (even before I knew what it was) to my coaching practice and life. This makes me uniquely qualified to help you clarify how you do things and then use it to achieve your goals.

Let's be honest - People don't believe in core values. For most, core values are more marketing than meaningful.

I used to think the same way. But everything changed when I figured out how to tap into my core self.

By clarifying and using your core values (personal and corporate), you solve problems and achieve goals faster and with less effort.

I'm on a mission to turn core value statements from ignorable to impactful so people can achieve more with less stress.

Have a great day, and I hope to talk soon.

The Five Steps of the Powder Day Mindset

At the heart of the Powder Day Mindset are five actionable steps designed to help individuals bring their best selves to every challenge:

  • Celebrate your efforts – Recognize yesterday's progress, no matter how small.

  • Identify your goals – Define clear objectives that align with what matters most.

  • Recognize challenges – Identify obstacles and embrace them as opportunities for growth.

  • Create a values-based plan – Leverage personal core values to develop actionable solutions.

  • Take action – Implement the plan and celebrate every step forward.

Leveraging Personal Core Values to Achieve Business Goals

Unlike traditional approaches that focus on corporate values, we empower employees to use their core values to achieve the company’s mission and goals. By encouraging individuals to align their work with their authentic selves, we create a more engaged, innovative, and resilient workforce.

How the Powder Day Mindset Positively Impacts Key Corporate Areas

  • Anti-Burnout: By celebrating progress and aligning work with core values, employees stay energized and less likely to experience burnout.

  • Innovation: Personal values provide the foundation for creative thinking and fresh ideas that push the company forward.

  • Productivity: When employees connect their values to their work, they focus on the tasks that matter most, driving higher productivity.

  • Belonging: Employees who feel seen and understood through their values develop a stronger sense of belonging, leading to greater retention and team cohesion.

  • Personal Growth: With a focus on their personal core values, employees take ownership of their growth, leading to more engaged and self-motivated team members.

FAQs

How do we get started?

One of the best parts of the Powder Day Mindset is its flexibility. You can start with a few individuals or a small group to prove its effectiveness. As stories of success emerge, the positive impact will naturally spread throughout your organization.

Will people leave?

One common worry when introducing a values-based training program is that employees may discover something about their core values and decide to leave the company. It’s true—this could happen. But far more often, employees realize that their current job fulfills their values in ways they hadn’t considered before. Maybe it’s not 100% perfect, but by identifying the places where their role aligns with their core values, they’ll find stepping stones for improving their experience at work.

Do we need to change our corporate core values

You can keep your core values, mission, vision, and goals. The Powder Day Mindset is about using personal core values to achieve those goals. But as your team becomes more clear on their values and how to use them to succeed in their roles, you may find the desire to change or refine those aspects of your business. But you don't have to address this at the beginning.

How does this impact additional training and development?

Another hidden benefit is that training and development becomes more effective. Once employees identify their core values and learn how to use the Powder Day Mindset, they have a framework for addressing challenges. Instead of waiting for managers to solve problems, employees can work with their supervisors to explore which values might be missing or need more attention. This leads to actionable solutions that foster growth and satisfaction.

How was the Powder Day Mindset developed?

Created by Joey Chandler, Founder of Find Your Way Consulting, The Powder Day Mindset was born out of personal necessity. Joey developed this process after experiencing significant burnout. As he hit rock bottom, Joey realized he no longer had the energy to be anything but himself. This led him to ask, “If I can only be me, who am I, and how can I be more of that?” Through deep reflection, Joey reduced his core values to three (courage, connection, and curiosity) and asked daily, “How can I bring more of my core values to my life?” Within a few months, Joey had recovered, feeling re-energized like he did on winter mornings with fresh snow. That feeling of boundless possibility, which he likened to powder skiing, inspired the Powder Day Mindset — a system for staying energized, focused, and confident, allowing people to create personal and professional days they love.

The Long Game: Being resilient while selling

May 29, 20244 min read

Sales can be a demanding field, often requiring a blend of persistence, strategy, and resilience. In today's competitive market, how can business owners and entrepreneurs maintain their drive without becoming pushy or burning out? The answer lies in understanding and leveraging your core process.

What is a Core Process?

A core process is a unique, repeatable sequence of steps that you naturally follow to achieve your goals. This process is deeply connected to your core values and reflects how you operate at your best. By identifying and refining your core process, you can ensure that your approach to sales remains authentic, efficient, and sustainable.

As business coach Tony Robbins once said, "It’s not about the goal. It’s about growing to become the person that can accomplish that goal." Understanding your core process helps you grow into a person who can achieve sustained success in sales.

The Role of Core Processes in Sales Resilience

Resilience in sales means having the ability to persist through challenges and setbacks while maintaining a healthy and authentic approach. When you are clear about your core process, you are better equipped to handle the ups and downs of the sales journey. Here’s how:

  1. Clarity and Focus: Knowing your core process provides clarity about what works best for you. This focus helps you stay on track and avoid distractions that can derail your sales efforts.

  2. Consistency: A well-defined core process ensures that you approach each sales opportunity with consistency. This consistency builds trust with your clients and makes your efforts more predictable and reliable.

  3. Authenticity: Your core process is a reflection of your true self. By adhering to it, you ensure that your interactions are genuine and not perceived as pushy or insincere. As Oprah Winfrey emphasizes, "The key to realizing a dream is to focus not on success but on significance—and then even the small steps and little victories along your path will take on greater meaning."

The Consequences of Neglecting Your Core Process

Neglecting your core process can lead to several issues in the sales process. Without a clear understanding of how you operate, you may resort to tactics that are not aligned with your strengths or values, leading to a lack of authenticity. This can make your approach seem forced or pushy, ultimately damaging your relationships with clients.

Moreover, without a core process, you may experience burnout. The constant pressure to perform without a clear roadmap can drain your energy and enthusiasm, making it difficult to maintain resilience. As leadership expert Warren Bennis noted, "Success in management requires learning as fast as the world is changing." Without a solid system or core process, your sales efforts can quickly become unsustainable.

Benefits of Integrating Your Core Process into Sales

When you integrate your core process into your sales strategy, you enhance your ability to maintain resilience in a healthy and non-pushy way. Here’s how:

  1. Healthy Persistence: Understanding your core process helps you persist through challenges without compromising your values. This healthy persistence ensures that you stay motivated and engaged without becoming overly aggressive.

  2. Efficient Adaptation: A clear core process allows you to adapt efficiently to changing circumstances. You can quickly identify what needs to be adjusted while staying true to your fundamental approach.

  3. Building Trust: By being consistent and authentic, you build trust with your clients. This trust is crucial for long-term relationships and sustainable sales success.

  4. Sustainable Growth: Leveraging your core process leads to sustainable growth. Aligning your efforts with your natural strengths and values avoids burnout and ensures that you can keep going in the long run.

Conclusion

Understanding and utilizing your core process is not just about improving sales techniques; it's about fostering healthy and authentic resilience. By aligning your sales efforts with your core values and natural strengths, you can navigate challenges more effectively and build stronger relationships with your clients.

Sales resilience comes from within, and your core process is the key to unlocking it. Embrace your unique approach, stay true to your values, and watch as your sales strategy transforms into a powerful, sustainable force. Remember, in the world of sales, resilience is not just about pushing through—it's about finding a way to keep going that is true to who you are.
